Finale

I started this blog back in 2009 as a place for people to find links to their favorite piano sheet music. I knew how exciting it felt to find a beautiful arrangement for music that I loved. As a classically trained pianist and avid listener of a wide variety of music genres, I wanted to share my findings to everyone.

However, as college continued to consume my life, my interests in updating, posting, and revamping this blog has faded. It's been well over two years since I've last posted links to more piano arrangements, let alone updating numerous dead links. And for these reasons, I've decided to delete all my posts and links. I have since moved on to pursuing an engineering degree and my love for photography. I'm only keeping the post and link for Utada Hikaru's "Come Back To Me" because it's the only sheet music I have ownership, since I arranged it.

For everyone who has ever come to my blog for sheet music, thank you for your support! May your days continue to be filled with the beauty of music.

Love,
Stephanie

Update

I know that I haven't updated or posted anything new in FOREVER. Please bare with me. I'll be done with school by the end of the week, and I plan to update every single sheet music link as well as the blog layout.

To be honest, I haven't looked at my blog since February, and I just noticed that there's a chatbox in the sidebar. I could've sworn that I did not put one there!! oh well. I won't take it down because I guess it's easier for readers to communicate with me (?), and they can discuss with others about the sheet music. There are also some other changes I swear I didn't make with the layout, like the 'tags' in the sidebar for people to find stuff are all gone.

------------

No sheet music links in this post, so I'll share something I've been listening to recently.

This is possibly THE best Lady Gaga instrumental cover EVER! It's arranged and performed by Aston, an incredibly talented classical group that I just discovered. I love listening to the different layers in the music. Even when you hear the main melody being played by the strings, there's the underlying melody from the piano ripping up and down the keyboard with soft chords from the guitar. Included are Bad Romance, Paparazzi, Telephone, Alejandro, and Judas. I posted their music video one instead of the audio one so that you won't be bored. tbh, I don't really understand the music video. I rarely watch music videos in full anyway. Music is for listening, and that's what I do. You notice more details in the music when you just listen, especially in instrumental music.

You should definitely check out all their other covers, like Rude Boy - Rihanna, ET - Katy Perry, and Bulletproof - La Roux. They bring a whole new meaning to the songs!

Have a great week, and good luck to everyone taking their AP or IB exams and finals!!!

Utada Hikaru - Come Back to Me

I've done extensive searches to try and find the sheet music for "Come Back to Me", but I could never find it, so I finally decided to write the sheet music for it. It was my first time arranging music, so it took me about 3 days -.-" I based it mostly off of this arrangement.

To write it, I used Noteflight, a free online music writing site. It's pretty easy to use but has a few limitations. Overall, it's better than spending a lot of money on Finale if you aren't planning to write a lot of music.

You can listen to it above (with the ugly MIDI) and print it directly from there. I hope you guys like it! I'm planning on arranging some other songs in the future.
